DuPont™ Tyvek® Graphics has launched a Preferred Printer Program to support their tag and label printers and converters. The program represents the evolution of end-use application marketing efforts and highlights the importance of the printer in the value chain.
"The program provides a platform for business planning, training, co-marketing and business referrals for printers and converters that meet specific requirements," said David Kee, marketing manager, Tyvek® Graphics. "An established program enables us to broaden our end-use marketing activities with the guarantee that our investment will be recognized by those companies that print and convert Tyvek® into tags and labels." Business referrals with an application focus will become a major program benefit.
In addition, the program will sponsor forums for the exchange of marketing, technical and production ideas. "We anticipate this program will assist tag and label printers in increasing their sales of Tyvek® and company awareness with on-going programs, create a preferred status standard, and reward loyalty." Kee continued. " For those printers and converters who achieve the Preferred Printer designation, our goal is for them to set the industry standard of excellence in converting Tyvek®."
Candidates for this program will be those tag & label printers who currently convert a high volume of Tyvek® or those who would like to expand their current business offering.
